Application for Permit to Haul Milk and/or Collect Samples of Raw Milk

Each year our division, in cooperation with the Milk Safety Branch, conducts quarterly haulers schools. Sampler-weighers are required to attend one of these sessions for training and a written exam prior to being licensed. Each year the division licenses approximately fifty new sampler weighers. Individuals who have repeatedly failed inspections may also be required to attend for retraining and examination.

Trainings are typically held at the University of Kentucky Extension Office in Elizabethtown and run from 9:15 am to 4:00 pm.
