Special note: Mixtures, difficult or dirty samples may be charged an additional fee per hour for extra separation time. For mixtures, each component over 5% of the total in a mixed sample shall be charged individually for germination testing.

2. Noxious weed seed examination (for KY only) and a
3. Germination test.

Payment Information:
It is not necessary to send payment with your sample. You will be billed the appropriate amount after the requested tests are complete. Bills are generated and mailed from our office at the beginning of each month.
Annual free test for Kentucky citizens:
Any Kentucky citizen may submit one seed sample per year for a complete test provided the sample is accompanied by the signed statement: "I certify that I have not previously submitted a sample for a free test during the current calendar year." If you would like to request a free test, please complete and submit a Seed Test Submittal form (RS-61-08-1109 PDF) with your seed sample.
